How Lucky Am I to Have Customers Like Kory?
Posted by Carine Soriano on
Every once in a while, something happens behind the scenes at Léa France that reminds me just how lucky I am to have such wonderful customers.
When Kory opened her Léa France package, she discovered not only her own order, but Julia’s order too!
Our warehouse had accidentally packed both orders into the same box. Julia’s shipping label was even inside, ready for her package—but everything had been sent to Kory.
Kory immediately contacted me to let me know.
There was only one little problem: Kory’s husband had already thrown away the original shipping box!
So I asked her:
“What if we send you an empty box, and you send Julia’s order directly to her?
You’ll be our warehouse for a day!”
And Kory said yes. 💕

We sent her a new empty box. Kory carefully packed Julia’s Flowers and Mini Grid stencil, attached the shipping label that had been included with Julia’s order, and prepared it for its second journey—this time to the correct scrapbooking home.
Of course, once Kory became our temporary warehouse, she needed an official uniform! So we gave her the full Léa France treatment: aqua and pink, Léa France badges, and her very own mail-carrier hat.
Shipping mistakes are never what we want. But the way Kory responded—with kindness, patience, and a willingness to help another scrapbooker—made me stop and think:
How lucky am I to have customers like this?
Léa France is not only a business to me. It is a community filled with thoughtful, generous women who help one another—even when it means becoming the Léa France warehouse and mail carrier for the day!
Thank you, Kory. You turned a shipping mix-up into one of my favorite behind-the-scenes Léa France stories. 💕
